This dolphin was a little bit *too* friendly.

When travel agent Pripri Rose headed to Cuba for a relaxing holiday, she decided to visit the local aquarium along with her mum, Magda.

But 36-year-old Pripri, from Florida, had the shock of her life when she was invited to meet one of the aquarium's playful dolphins - and things didn't quite go to plan.

In shocking footage, a very excited bottlenose dolphin can be seen unexpectedly 'humping' Pripri, who found the whole thing hilarious. You can see the funny clip below:

In the video, the 47-stone dolphin leapt up out of the water on top of Pripri, who was pretty startled by what was happening.

"After the show, I went to play with the dolphins and one of them out of nowhere jumped up excitedly and started humping me," Pripri said.

"The entire audience that had been watching the show started laughing. My mum was so nervous that her only reaction was to scream.

"I was so in shock that my only reaction was to laugh. I didn't know what to do. I now know that dolphins can be very unpredictable."

Bottlenose dolphins are some of the smartest animals on the planet and are often curious of humans as well as other animals.

Earlier this year, we told you how the dolphins at an aquarium in Texas were so excited when they were visited by a sloth.

During the first lockdown, the staff at Texas State Aquarium - a non-profit organisation dedicated to the conservation and rehabilitation of wildlife - decided to give one sloth a special tour, placing it outside the dolphin enclosure.

"With the aquarium temporarily closed, Chico the sloth had the opportunity for an up-close and personal meeting with some of our dolphins. Liko and Schooner were very curious, and Liko was even inspired to attempt an upside-down sloth impression!" The aquarium wrote on Facebook.
