A woman who had no idea she was pregnant has given birth to a baby boy on a plane, 30,000ft in the air.
New mum Lavinia Mounga was flying from Salt Lake City to the island of Honolulu last week when she began to experience contractions.
Lavinia was on the plane alongside her family when she began experiencing cramps and ended up giving birth mid-flight.
She Tweeted after the dramatic ordeal that she was "overwhelmed in the best ways" and has named the tot Raymond Kaimana Wade Kobe Lavaki Mounga.
The baby's Dad, Ethan Magalei, wrote on Facebook that he was "stunned" by his baby son's quick arrival.
He said he hoped he would be "the best dad" as he thanked the people who had helped the couple during Raymond's birth.
"The fact that our son is here is a miracle and nothing short of it," he added.
"The birth came as a shock to us both as we had NO idea that she was pregnant."
Ethan added that he wanted "nothing but the best" for little Raymond and that he was grateful and blessed that Raymond was now here.
The birth went viral when a fellow traveller posted about the event on TikTok.
Julia Hansen was travelling with a friend when their journey was delayed by three hours.
Julia, who works as a cabin crew manager, said: "A baby was just born on this plane."
The pilot can then be heard saying: "As most of you have probably heard, we just had a child birth on the aircraft, let's have a nice round of applause for the mother. Congratulations," before passengers begin clapping.
In the video's comments, Julia added that "mother and baby were perfectly healthy when they got off the plane."
"To those wondering how she was able to fly in her third trimester," she added, "I sat next to her dad on the plane and he said they didn't even know she was pregnant."
We wish this new family well!
