There’s a bar, sculptures and even a slide made purely from ice. Brrr.

On 21st November, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland returns to London, bringing with it a thoroughly festive line up of ice-themed attractions.

For 2019's edition, The Magical Ice Kingdom plays host to a brand-new theme - A Christmas Carol, which promises to bring Charles Dickens' enchanting classic to life.

Step back in time to the frost-bitten world of Tiny Tim and Ebenezer Scrooge, and journey through breath-taking snow and ice sculptures. Crafted from 500 tonnes of snow and ice, this is the UK's largest ice experience and not to be missed.

Also making its debut is the Paddington On Ice show. One for the whole family, it combines sublime choreography and award-winning ice-skating with a toe-tapping soundtrack.

At just 45 minutes, the show is the perfect length for younger audience members.

Once you've waved goodbye to our furry friend from deepest, darkest Peru, why not learn a new skill at one of the ice sculpting workshops? Here, visitors can create a masterpiece in the bespoke sculpting studio, with the help of the UK's finest ice artists.

Or head to Santa Land, home to Santa's Grotto, rides and - yep - a 45m Ice Slide. Swoosh.

If that doesn't grab you, there's always the option of skating on the UK's largest open-air Ice Rink, overlooking the picturesque Victorian bandstand in London's beautiful Hyde Park.

You'll find us clinging to the handrail, or possibly using one of the penguin skating aids, before retreating for a hot choccie. Ice-skating sessions can be booked between 10am and 9pm, with each session lasting 50 minutes.

Round off the night with cocktails at the après ski-themed Ice Bar, filled with pop art sculptures, where you can don a thermal cape, sip cocktails and (literally) chill with friends.
