Dog Jumps Out Of First Floor Window To Take Itself For A Walk

She'd had enough of lockdown and fair enough tbh.

Everyone knows dogs love going for walkies, but this is just next level enthusiasm.

Sasha, a mischievous Staffordshire Bull Terrier, had had enough of being indoors and decided to take herself for a walk while her owners, Christopher and Steph Tyler, were out of the house.

But she did so in the most insane way possible, by literally jumping out of the first floor window.

You can watch a clip of the CCTV footage below:

The couple, from Derbyshire, had popped out to Christopher's brother's house last Friday evening when they returned home to learn the five-year-old pooch had jumped out of their upstairs window, soaring through the air before landing on the driveway.

Incredibly, Sasha seemed completely unfazed by the incident and tried to run off, before being taken in by a neighbour who witnessed the escape mission.

Healthcare worker Steph, 30, said: "We'd only been out for 20 minutes when we got a call from our neighbour, who said that Sasha had jumped out the window.

"We can access the house cameras from our phones, so I had a look and I swore when I saw it. I thought, 'of course she's done this'.

A neighbour saw the incident and alerted Steph (

"Luckily, our neighbour has dogs too, so she caught Sasha and put her in her back garden with her dogs until we could get back.

"She was very lucky she didn't get injured. We could tell that her legs and paws were fine, but we thought she must have done some damage to her ribs with that landing.

"But we took her to the vets the next morning and she had no injuries at all - and she was back to jumping up as if nothing had happened. Someone was obviously looking over her."

Now the family know their beloved pooch is okay, they're able to see the funny side of the video, and have definitely learned from the incident.

"We make sure all the windows are properly shut now when we go out. Sasha doesn't like it when we're not there," she continued.

Talk about a severe case of FOMO! We're so glad little Sasha is okay.
