Think your cleaning skills are up to the royal standard? Well, good news, Her Maj is hiring an apprentice cleaner to live in Windsor Castle.

Posting on The Royal Household's careers website, as a Level 2 Housekeeping Apprentice, you'll learn on the job, while working alongside the royal team of housekeeping professionals.

And you'll be living in either Windsor Castle or Buckingham Palace, with all meals provided and travel expenses included!

As part of the role, you'll be getting stuck into a variety of different tasks and challenges, upkeeping, cleaning and caring for interiors and items in the house, as well as ensuring rooms are presented to their best.

The apprenticeship will also include off the job training, too, and you'll be assigned a mentor throughout. At the end of the apprenticeship, the candidate will join the royal household's permanent team.

To apply, the household explain all apprenticeships require a qualification in English and Maths. However, if you don't have these, you will be supported in achieving them as part of the apprenticeship.

The starting salary is £19,140 per year and you'll also receive an impressive benefits package, which includes 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays), a pension scheme and "a range of catering and recreational facilities".
