We all know the January sales can be epic, but if you're more excited to make savings on seeing the world rather than some new garms, we have just the thing for you.

Ryanair has launched an incredible sale to ring in the new decade, with flights starting from as little as £9.99.

From airports across the UK, those looking to get a bit of new year sun can jet off for less than the price of a round at the bar.

The priciest flight in the deal is to Malta from Edinburgh £26.64 - which gives you just some idea of the discounts we are talking.

You can hit up some of Europe's most buzzing cities, from Prague in the Czech Republic, to the stunning Toulouse in France, Sofia, Naples and Porto.

Some of our favourite deals include jetting to Venice from Manchester for £16.99, checking out the picturesque Malta from Bristol for £18.99 and exploring the spice markets of Marrakesh from London Luton for £21.99.

The biggest savings come if you travel to Seville in Spain from London Luton, where you can pick up a flight for just £9.99. That's right, you can chomp on the region's world famous oranges and sip some red wine in the winter sun for less than your Friday takeaway.

Another notable deal can see you fly to Krakow for £16.99 from the East Midlands, £18.99 from Edinburgh and Birmingham, and £20.99 from Bristol and Belfast.

The Polish city was voted the best European city break for the third year in a row according to a Which? survey - so what better reason to book?

The only catch is you'll need to travel between February and March, which gives you just enough time to book the time off with you boss come the new year.
