Woman Sparks Debate After Announcing 'Outright Criminal' Baby Names For Future Children

We all want our children to be special and unique - but one woman may have taken that desire too far after she revealed what she plans to name her little ones.

The woman in question, who is not yet pregnant, posted her list of proposed baby names on Reddit.

She explained she was inspired by her wanderlust, as she dreams of becoming a pilot one day and wants to pass on her love of aviation to her family.

However, her suggestions went down like a lead balloon on Reddit, with one person even commenting the names she had put forward were "outright criminal".

With quite a heavy airplane theme, some of the boys names the woman suggested included: Boeing Joseph, Vulcan Wright, Aero Spitfire, Sully Victor and Captain Oscar.

Elsewhere, Concordia Skye, Echo November, Delta Amelia, Sierra Cloud and Pilot Juliette were among the proposed monikers for girls.

Quick to criticise the unusual baby names, Reddit users slammed the woman for wanting to name her children after airlines.

"You could always pass your love of aviation onto your kids by .... travelling with them? .... flying with them? Instead of giving them any of these names, they are HEINOUS." one person commented.

Another said: "Sounds like a five year old playing pirates with his friends."

A third also questioned the age of the original poster.

"I really, really hope that this is either a troll or some poor, deluded fourteen year old who thinks she knows it all," they said.

"Some of these names are outright criminal!"

But not everyone hated the suggestions, with some warming to a few of the baby names.

"Some of these aren't that bad," wrote one person. "Sully Victor and Sierra Cloud wouldn't strike me as odd at all, and Delta Amelia isn't awful either."

Another said: "I don't absolutely hate Aero and Sully, and obviously Sierra is quite normal."

In other baby news, one blogger has raised eyebrows when she revealed she uses breast milk as part of her skincare routine - and to be fair, she does look amazing.
