People Are Officially Triggered By M&S' 'Terrifying' New Percy Pig Advert

Marks & Spencer have officially left customers triggered after sharing the advert for their new Percy Pig toys.

Yep, the retailer has brought out two new cuddly versions of their famous Percy Pig - but, some didn't find the video advertising them as cute as the toys themselves.

The ad, which has had over 300,000 views and almost 60,000 likes on TikTok, shows a group of Percy Pig toys in a VIP meeting (that stands for Very Important Pig!).

As a rather spooky xylophone chimes, the pigs are all gathered in a board room with smiles stitched onto their faces.

And, let's just say, some people felt a little triggered watching them.

Check out the ad below:

Comments compared the Percy Pig video to a David Lynch film, and one person even described the clip as "the most frightening experience I have ever had in my life.'

"This is the nightmare fuel I was telling you about," another wrote, tagging a friend under the clip on Twitter.

While a third agreed: "That is rather creepy. Too many Percy Pigs at once."

A fourth described the TikTok as "kind of terrifying but hypnotic at the same time".

Others just found the whole thing super cute, however.

"The best meeting you'll ever go to," one joked.

While the ad has certainly divided the crowds, there's no denying that people are talking about M&S' new products.

And all jokes aside, who wouldn't want a giant Percy to cuddle while working from home?!

The toys are based on M&S's famous Percy Pig sweets, which were originally created in 1992 and have since become a household name.

According to the premium supermarket, they're 'super squishable' and make the perfect cuddle buddy.

You can get a 'large' Percy Pig for £15 in store, or a 'giant' one costs £25.

The toys are limited edition, so you'd better be quick to your local branch if you want to bag one.
