We've dreamt up some romantic proposals in our time, but our partner popping the question while we're fast asleep has somehow never made the list.
That's how one man, Michael Mayorga, opted to pop the question, though.
Yep, in a move which has left the internet divided, Michael decided to propose to his girlfriend, Jamilah, while she slept, and share a picture of the ring on her finger before she'd even woken up.

"For weeks now I been planning on how to pop the question ... you know all my moves and you are one very hard woman to surprise," he wrote on Facebook.
To take the surprise up a notch, Michael then decided to take a picture of his sleeping girlfriend with the ring on and share it with the world.
"The jokes on you because now you're going to wake up with 3 surprises... a phone full of congratulations notifications and texts, an engagement ring on your finger and a picture of you sleeping that you don't want all over the internet," he wrote.

"SURPRISE!!! I'll let y'all know the verdict when she wakes up."
We don't know if this is savage or... cute?
The post soon picked up thousands of comments and likes from well-wishers desperate to hear it Jamilah said yes.
But some people were more worried that she'd be furious at the snoozing snap.
"Bro she's going to flip out man," someone wrote before congratulating him.

While another penned: "I have questions!! Wait, is she up yet? Did she say yes? Did he get his ass beat for posting this picture! I need answers please!"
Any critics need not have worried, though, as it turns out Jamilah was "blown away" by the gesture.
"God you are AMAZING to send me this man who loves me for real," she wrote on her own Facebook.
