We all have that one friend who can track down a Tinder chirpse in five seconds flat, or dig out your ex boyfriend's private finsta with barely any deets whatsoever.

"You should be a spy," you might tell them, never for a second being serious.

But it turns out they actually could be, because the M16 is actually recruiting for part time spies at the moment, and calling on Brits who are "looking to spice up their otherwise dull life".

This couldn't be more apt right now...

Placing ads in magazines across the country, according to the Daily Star, the formerly known Secret Intelligence Service is reportedly looking to boost recruitment and encourage diversity, with a particular interest in hiring women, older people, 'foreign nationals' and applicants from overseas to work with them.

The new recruitment drive is said to be pushed by MI6's new boss, Richard Moore.

One of the ads, which was spotted by the publication in a magazine, says MI6 is looking for people "diverse skill sets and life experiences for part-time and consulting roles."

Headlined "Tell Me A Secret", it is said to read: "The Secret Intelligence Service seeks individuals with diverse skill sets and life experiences for part-time and consulting roles to enhance our core mission."

It continued: "We work in challenging and volatile environments in the real world and online, with a focus on national security, economic wellbeing and the prevention or detection of serious crime."

Another add is looking for those who have "expertise in their chosen field".

The spy chief - whose own wife is blind - is also hoping to recruit people with disabilities, so they can offer their own unique skills and insights to the role.

They are on the lookout for contacts from Russia and China, too.

The job would reportedly involve a lot of travel, making it perfect for any corporate executive "looking to spice up an otherwise dull life."

The MI6 is a British government agency which works to collect, analyse, and disseminate foreign intelligence as and when is required. It works primarily outside British territory, collecting information to be brought back to help gather intelligence in the UK.

Right now, we think this job might be exactly what we need. Wannabe sleuths, get on it!
