​Man's Reaction To Home Makeover Is Being Dubbed The 'Best Ever’

In news that's sure to make us all laugh right now, during a time where we're all attempting a bit of home DIY, a video of one man's reaction to his bedroom makeover has resurfaced, and we honestly can't stop laughing at how awks this is.

BBC One show Your Home In Their Hands treated one couple to a home makeover in 2015 - and, rather than keeping tight-lipped on what he really thought of the bedroom's new look, one man gave a brutally honest review of his new room.

Twitter user @plinketyplink2 shared the hilarious clip online, captioning it with: "Still the best reaction to a house makeover ever" and we couldn't agree more.

The clip begins with presenter Celia Sawyer taking homeowners John and Rachel into their newly-decorated bedroom, where she reveals a bright room with yellow wardrobes and garish floral wallpaper.

And it's fair to say that it's not quite in John's taste. In fact, he goes so far as to say so when he's asked what he thinks.

"I don't like it. For me it's too busy. I wouldn't have done anything like it and I don't like it," he says.

But he doesn't just stop there, likening the new look to a "kids play area."

"You're supposed to be able to go to sleep in a bedroom and it's like a kids play area," John explains. "I think it looks horrendous. It doesn't look anything like a bedroom. So sorry, but it's a big thumbs down from me. It's hideous."

Partner Rachel tries to see the positives, however, saying she likes the bed and the wardrobes and pointing out they they did ask for colour, but still John's not convinced.

"It's rank," he goes on. "Don't like it at all."

"I think it'll grow on us," Rachel politely adds, when the presenter presses her on her own thoughts about the makeover.

"It's rank, horrible."

"It might grow on you," Rachel says to John later in the clip, in a final effort to convince him.

"Fungus grows," he replies. "That's horrible."

And Twitter users shared their own thoughts on the home makeover, with one remarking: "He's got a point, this is the worst bedroom I've ever seen."

Meanwhile, another felt for the couple: "Poor Rachel doing her best to be diplomatic after what looks like a unicorn puked a rainbow over the room!"
