A flight from Manchester airport to Islamabad was delayed by over seven hours after a passenger mistakenly opened the emergency exit thinking it was the toilet.
The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK702 was running on-time to fly at 9.20pm on Friday, 7th June.
But while the plane was on the runway getting ready to take off, one woman ignored the seat belt signs to use the toilet. However, she opened door L5 at the rear of the plane on the left, rather than the toilet door next to it.
As she opened the door, the emergency evacuation slide was immediately deployed, and all of the passengers needed to leave the aircraft.

In a statement, PIA said: "A passenger erroneously opened the emergency door causing the emergency slide to activate."
When asked why she opened the emergency door, the passenger said she believed it was the toilet.
The plane finally left Manchester airport at 5am on Saturday, 8th June but a number of passengers didn't travel on that flight.

As the emergency chute had been activated, PIA decided to replace it at its home-base, reducing the aircraft's evacuation capacity. This meant not all of the passengers could fly on the plane, with 38 volunteers having to travel on a later flight.
On Saturday, a spokesperson for PIA: "All passengers were provided dinner. The offloaded passengers were provided with transportation and hotel accommodation and will be adjusted on the next available flight.
"PIA regrets the inconvenience caused to its passengers due to this incident."

The delayed journey had a domino effect on other flights, which also didn't take off on time due to the woman's toilet door error.
That's not all, as some passengers who volunteered to change flights, also complained that their luggage was left behind in Manchester airport.
Hopefully they'll all be eventually able to see the funny side one day...
