PSA: A huge water park is coming to Bournemouth and fans are already comparing it to "something out of Indiana Jones".

The attraction, which will cover 75 acres of land across the New Forest and Poole, will be the largest in the UK, and has been named Elysium Waterpark - after the Greek concept for the afterlife.

While the park is still in the early stages of conception, artwork reveals an incredible vision for the park.

It's set to be packed full of massive water slides, rapids and little and large swimming pools to splash around in, as well as lots of plants and wildlife.

And they plan to use VR and AR technology on some of their rides, so it's sure to be incredible.

It's not all for kids, either. There's set to be a 'water-based spa' for the adults to spend some time relaxing while the kids splash about.

It's set to include "a multitude of facilities including a sauna, hammam spas, massage and beauty treatments, exercise and dance options."

Plus, there's a lagoon area with five different wave levels so you can float about until your heart's content.

Your day at the park doesn't have to stop when you've got out the water, either, as there's also going to be dining options available as well as hotels and eco-lodges if you fancy extending your stay.

Unfortunately, there's going to be a little wait before we can actually visit the park, because its not scheduled to open until 2023.

Dubai is working on an even bigger waterpark (

The park still needs to officially obtain planning permission, but Costa Acodrinesei - the man who invented it - has high hopes his vision will come to life. But three years will fly by, right?!

In the meantime, you'll have to head to Dubai, where they're launching one of the biggest water parks on the planet.

Atlantis Aquaventure at Palm Island in the Middle East already spreads over a staggering 17 hectares with 20 rides and rivers. But the attraction is expanding even further to make it a record-breaker once it's finished in 2020.

If dry rides are more your thing, you'll soon be able to head to the new Marvel themed Avengers attractions in both California and Paris' Disney parks, too.

Much like the waterparks, this is packed with cool features including a Spiderman ride-along adventure and a diner modelled on Pym Test Kitchen, where Ant Man's "Pym Technologies is using the latest innovations to grow and shrink food".

Plus, there's even an opportunity to meet superheroes like Doctor Strange, Black Panther, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor, Iron Man, Ant-Man and The Wasp.

That will keep us busy, then!
