We all need a bit of Christmas cheer RN, and this is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
Three pooches have created a hilarious nativity scene - and they look so cute.
Owner Heidi Birchall, 54, from Ormskirk, planned the Christmas scene on a whim, dressing up her three fur babies in towels and placing them around a manger with baby Jesus (represented by a pottery dog).

She then spent 10 minutes persuading the patient pups - a Jack Russell and two Border Terriers - to pose for the adorable snaps.
And the dogs did so well, with Jack Russell, Diesel, six, and Border Terriers, Scruff, eight, and Benji, five all stealing the show as three wise men.
They did have a little help from the promise of some delicious lamb flavoured dog treats - but we think they're very good boys all the same!
Heidi said: "They are well behaved because they're used to me taking photos and messing about with them and they expect their treats at the end.

"There are a lot of outtakes, but it only really took about ten minutes to get them sitting still and looking at the camera at the same time.
"I just came up with the idea because it's Christmas, to put tea towels on their heads. I was hoping to use them as Christmas cards.
"I just took a few shots and hoped for the best. It is difficult getting the camera ready because you take your eye off the ball with the dogs."
It's not the first time Heidi has created hilarious photoshoots for her dogs. In fact, she's planning on getting her own card maker and making dog-themed Christmas cards for the rescue centre where she adopted Diesel and Benji.

"They get enough treats but they're so well behaved anyway," said Heidi.
"It was just a spur of the moment idea that turned out really well and hopefully it'll make people smile."
It definitely did that!
