Across the globe, men and women have been attempting to cut their own hair during lockdown - or, enlisting the help of a loved one.
After all, desperate times call for desperate measures (even if you do end up with a wonky fringe) and no-one knows for sure how long social distancing will last.
One dad who needed his hair trimming decided to allocate the job to his four-year-old daughter, Hallie.
Cliff Nix, from Missouri, has been unable to visit his barbers due to COVID-19 lockdown and social distancing, so instead asked his daughter to lend a hand.
In a video clip, dad-of-two Cliff explains: "My hair is getting a little out of control, it's the longest it's ever been before.
"I can't exactly go to a barber right now, because of the quarantine. My other options are Amelia, she's only one, she's not going to cut my hair.
"Then there's my wife Amy and Hallie - but clearly I'm not going to trust Amy to cut my hair," Cliff joked.
Little Hallie can then be seen hacking away at her dad's locks, eventually getting into the swing of it and leaving the floor covered in chopped hair.
Once the cut was complete, Cliff assesses his new 'do in the mirror - and to be fair, it's pretty impressive. Granted, it's still very long in the middle - and very short around the sides, but we think she's done a great first job.
"I needed a haircut, but we're quarantined, so I thought I'd give my daughter a shot at it," explained Cliff.
"She's been practicing using scissors lately, so I was feeling confident in her. I was actually surprised that it turned out as good as it did.
"I think I'd call it the flame; long in the middle and shorter on all sides. I've made some adjustments but it's still not good, I just cut it all to one size.
"It's most definitely my favourite haircut to date."
