A couple who managed to snap up a caravan for just £800 ($1,005) on Gumtree have given it an incredible makeover - and it took them just seven days.
Ellie Sharkey, 22, and Charlotte Tasker, 24, from Scotland, spent just £500 ($628) renovating the caravan, after their holiday to Canada was cancelled due to coronavirus.
The Ace Jubilee Diplomat was a total bargain, arriving complete with a canoe, collapsible bike and a cute awning.

And for a week, nurse Ellie and army medic Charlotte set about transforming the vehicle with pink chalk paint, Dalmatian spots, sparkly silver chairs, fairy lights and vinyl flooring.
It looks so dreamy. Just *look* at it...
Incredibly, it only took them a week to do and cost just £500 ($628).

Now, the couple are getting ready to take their home on wheels on a two week scenic road trip in the north of Scotland.
Ellie said: "We knew when we bought it that it was obviously really dated, but we planned to paint it anyway.
"It was a dead spontaneous decision. We bought it on Friday, and Saturday morning at 8am it was at our doorstep!"

The couple - who explained they had no previous DIY experience when they took on the project - posted photos of their renovations online and social media was amazed.
The post on Twitter has now exceeded 80,000 likes and has been shared by thousands of people.
"All in all the renovations cost around £500," said Ellie.

"We painted all the cupboards with chalk paint and my mum made us new pink curtains.
"We spray painted all inside metal features rose gold, covered the seats with sparkly silver fabric and replaced the old carpet with vinyl flooring.
"After that we then painted the body of the caravan pink and grey, and dalmatian spots on the roof.

"Finally, we added pillows, fairy lights, pom poms and accessories to make it a more comfortable living space."
Charlotte explained they are thrilled with the outcome - and we can see why, it's so gorgeous.
"It has all the personal touches we planned to include and more, so we couldn't be happier," she said.
"We don't want people thinking that we are professionals at this.
"We are genuinely just two normal people who have tried to make a caravan a bit more funky."
Ellie and Charlotte also have an Instagram travel blog where they intend on sharing snaps of their upcoming trip. You can check out their page here.
