New mum Charlotte Dawson has been praised for showing off her postpartum stretch marks, after she shared a selfie on social media.

Charlotte, 28, who welcomed baby boy Noah in January, posted a series of snaps in her new loungewear set, writing: "Feeling bank holiday fabulous/flabulous."

In the photos, Charlotte proudly shows of her stretch marks, and followers were quick to praise the new mum on portraying the realities of motherhood.

"You have no idea how many women you'll help by posting this. Amazing and you look fab," one wrote.

While another added: "This makes me feel so normal."

"You are absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing your post-baby body and helping us fellow mummies to feel beautiful too," a third added.

Another agreed, commenting: "There is nothing more true and perfect in the public eye than you are!! People need to take a leaf out of your book then maybe this world would be a nicer and more happier place!!"

Ever since welcoming baby Noah earlier this year, with fiancé Matt Sarsfield, Charlotte has been praised for sharing both the highs and lows of motherhood.

Just weeks after giving birth, she shared a video on Instagram of her dancing in the shower, captioned: "How I entertain myself with my 7 week post patrum bodehhhh."

Meanwhile, she told Tyla that she wants to embrace her postpartum body - and wants other mums to see it's normal

"I don't want to put pressure on myself," she said.

"I just want to embrace this post-partum body. Yeah, I do have stretchmarks. But I'm not going to beat myself up about it, because I want to enjoy my time with my little cherub.

"I think there's a lot of pressure on young girls to look a certain way nowadays. And it should be about being healthy.
