Guys, keep your eyes peeled - the UK's best-loved escape artist has escaped the coop again.

Yep, Chanel the African Grey parrot, who become an internet sensation last year after she escaped her home in Liverpool, has gone missing once more - leading to her owner, Sandra Hannah, to issue an emotional appeal for Chanel's safe return on This Morning.

You can watch the video below.

"She was out of her cage, but she was upstairs, it had been raining all day," Sandra explained to Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes. "My son just wanted to go and play outside on his bike.

"I went out to get the bike, shut the door behind me, and was out waiting for him on the street. He came out straight after me, and left the door open, and I didn't check. Then she just flew out."

Wiping away tears and her voice breaking in emotion, Sandra continued: "She went towards the canal again, because we live right next to it.

"Last time, we got Chanel back the next day. But this is the third day now. I just don't know where she'll be."

When quizzed by Ruth on how to safely return the African Grey should someone find her, Sandra tearfully said: "She's so tame and she'll be so scared now so she'll try and get somewhere safe. Take a picture of her, shout her name, put your hand out and she'll come on you."

Chanel and Sandra became quite the double act last year after the pair went viral, and it's clear just how much Sandra loves her African Grey - full name Chanel Chanellington.

Speaking about her parrot in an exclusive interview with Tyla earlier this year, Sandra explained: "I called her Chanel because my chihuahua is called Coco, and I thought it's got to go with that, and we just went with that - and then she just started to call herself Chanel Chanellington. She talks to herself a lot.

"She was like a naughty little child, she would pick up every naughty little sound. I tried to teach her to say all the kids names but no, she'd rather say bitch. Her favourite phrase at the moment is 'get out now.'"

Fingers crossed we find Chanel this time around too.
