Roman Kemp was a special guest at Kate Garraway's son Billy's 11th birthday party - and wore his I'm A Celeb clothes for the occasion.

Capital FM presenter Roman, 27, attended alongside his TV star dad Martin, 58, and made Billy's birthday extra special while his dad Derek battles complications caused by coronavirus in hospital.

The birthday activities were worthy of the celeb jungle too, with a huge water fight and obstacle course challenge in the back garden.

Just look at this video of Roman legging it around the course with the kids, water gun at the ready:

Kate's 14-year-old daughter Darcey joined in the fun, along with Billy's mates - who all got drenched.

The Good Morning Britain presenter had even rigged up a tepee in the garden, along with colourful balloon arches and paddling pools.

Roman later helped to light the sparklers on Billy's Fortnite-themed birthday cake birthday, which featured layers of sponge and blue-and-white iced cupcakes, and was created by Myleene Klass and her partner Simon Motson.

He posted about the celebrations on Insta, writing: "So nice to see my amazing jungle mate @kategarraway for Bill's birthday!

"Got back into my jungle kit for some camping and nerf wars (Kate did tell me I need to let the outfit go now...) happy birthday bill!"

Kate returned to ITV earlier this week following four months off while Derek - who has spent 98 days in hospital - was battling the virus in an ICU.

Derek has now opened his eyes as he awakes from a coma but is said to have "minimum consciousness".

On Tuesday, the Good Morning Britain's Kate confirmed that she would be able to see her husband for the first time in four months.

She said: "I might be able to go and visit Derek after the show today and in fact the nurses are going to put Good Morning Britain for him today.

"They've got a TV and they're putting it on this morning, obviously we don't know what he can hear or see."

"They didn't realise I was on air yesterday, but they're going to put it on today and see if there's any reaction. We're trying anything at the moment."

Wishing Billy a very happy birthday - and Derek a continued recovery.
