People have been taking to the Boots website to praise a £10 pillow spray for its "miracle" qualities.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Baby Pillow Spray by Bloom and Blossom has been a big hit among parents with one mum claiming her baby now sleeps 10 hours a night thanks to the product.

Emily Pritchard explained she didn't get a full night's sleep for over three months when her son Jesse was born last year.

The new mum, 26 and her partner Ross Jewitt were up every two hours tending to their little one - and after trying everything they could to get him to settle - even splashing out on a course in cranial osteopathy and playing white noise - nothing worked.

Until they discovered the Bloom and Blossom sleep spray, that is. The parents, from Essex, are now calling the spray a "miracle" after it was recommended to them a couple of months ago.

The spray is just £9.99 at Boots (

Emily said: "The first time I used it, he slept all through the night. The second night I thought 'this is the test' but he slept through for eight hours, and he has slept through every night since. I now use the spray religiously.

"No new mum wants to admit how hard it can be when you bring your baby home and not many people are honest about how hard it can be.

"I got a big shock when I brought Jesse home. He was waking up every two and a half hours, so I would be up three or four times a night. I was like a zombie and stayed in my pyjamas all day - it was exhausting.

"Ross was getting up for work completely shattered and Jesse was miserable and upset because he was so tired. Lots of people told me it was normal for the first couple of months, but it was still happening in December, four months after he was born.

"I genuinely thought something was wrong with him, I even took him to the doctors. Now, Jesse has completely changed - he's so smiley and happy."

The £10 spray is fragranced with notes of Sicilian lavender as well as ylang ylang, jasmine, amber and mandarin. It's also vegan and cruelty-free.

And other shoppers have been praising the product online, with many agreeing on its miracle qualities.

One person wrote: "Absolutely love the smell of this baby pillow spray! It's so relaxing and my little boy loves it too, he drifts off to sleep and stays asleep longer now I'm certain it's the sweet relaxing scent!"

While another said: "Absolutely fantastic, my little girl is 9 months old and hadn't slept through the night until now.

"Just a couple of sprays and two weeks later still sleeping soundly through cannot recommend this product enough. I have been sharing this with all the mums at the groups we go to!!

"Thank you so much I'm feeling more human now!!"

Another explained her daughter nodded off in just 15 minutes. "Really helps to soothe my 15 month old. Where bedtime used to take an hour or so, my daughter is asleep within 15 minutes," they wrote.

One parent even said she uses it on her own pillow, after seeing successful results with her little one.

"I really like this pillow spray," she wrote. "I use it on my 11 month old daughter's bedding each night and even my own pillow... it smells lovely and we have a really good nights sleep which is most needed with my little one teething."

One woman added: "Have used it every night and am convinced it has aided better sleep pattern. I am referring to myself - a 61 year old female!!"

Even better, the spray is currently on offer at Boots. Simply buy two Bloom and Blossom products and get a free gift. Or, you can purchase the spray on the Bloom and Blossom website.
