Insert linkDoes your mum know her Hayman's from her Hendrick's? Can she sort her Bombay Sapphire from her Beefeater?

Well, firstly, she sounds like our kind of woman, and secondly, we have just the Mother's Day gift idea for her.

Grab the ice and lemons, because you can now explore the world-famous Bombay Sapphire Distillery - a mecca for gin lovers - on a fascinating tour, bookable via Klook.

Along the way, you'll learn about the mind-blowing skill and artistry that goes into making their world-famous gin and get the chance to sip a few delish cocktails too.

Located in rural Hampshire, the distillery itself is stunning - think ornate glass structures and crisp red brick - and as you roam around you'll be plugged into an audio guide to give you the low-down on the building's back-story.

Bombay Sapphire's history dates all the way back to 1761, when Thomas Dakin purchased a site for distilling on Bridge street in Warrington and created Warrington Gin.

It wasn't until the 1950s that a crafty chap named Alain Subin saw an opportunity to capitalise on the Mad Men-style era of Martini drinking and relaunched Warrington Gin for an American market. With lighter notes, a new incarnation of the gin was born: Bombay Dry Gin.

After exploring the distillery, you'll rejoin the group for a 15-minute guided tour of Dakin Still House, where you can see how the historical Dakin stills are made.

Prepare to roll your sleeves up because there are various interactive exhibits too, where visitors have the chance to learn about the distillation process.
