Asda is selling glow-in-the-dark Halloween roses - and they're perfect for a spooky window display.

The ghoulish bouquets are sold in bunches of five and will light up even the darkest corners. Simply turn off the lights and watch the illuminous blooms come to life!

Now in store, you can get your hands on a bunch of the flowers for just £5. If you ask us, they'd make the ultimate addition to a creepy costume, too (we're thinking corpse bride?!)

The roses join Asda's Halloween collection, which also includes Ogle the Cyclopillar chocolate cake and a scary (but delicious) Halloween pizza which comes in five different flavours: Cheese Meltdown, Pepperoni Feast, The Sizzler, Veggie Supreme, and Meat Feast.

An Asda spokesperson said: "We know our customers love fun and playful seasonal props so we're always on the lookout for quirky, innovative offerings - especially at Halloween.

"We think these might be the best yet as they're sure to illuminate any spookily dark rooms in unexpected blackouts!

"For a Halloween of dark nights and small celebrations, the roses are the perfect dash of fun and at only £5 per bunch - they're a bargain too!"

In other important Halloween news, you can now stay in Britain's most haunted castle - if you're brave enough, that is.

The aptly named Chillingham Castle, in Northumberland, has been dubbed the most haunted castle in the UK thanks to the number of spooky encounters reported by guests.

One guest even had to cancel their third night due to some very supernatural encounters the evening before.

The castle dates back to the 12th century and has remained in the same family ever since. Even today, much of the mediaeval castle remains as it was, with galleries added in Tudor times as well as re-landscaped, extravagant gardens.

It even has a torture chamber... yep, not for the faint hearted. You can read more about it here.

Happy Halloween!
