Little Boy Calls Elf On The Shelf 'B*****d' After It 'Cuts Holes In His PJs'

That’s one elf who should definitely be on the naughty list!

A little boy was let slip a swear word when he saw what a trio of naughty Christmas elves had done to his pyjama bottoms.

Six-year-old Lorcan, from Dublin, was left floored when he saw large, gaping holes in jim-jams - which his mum blamed on the Elf on the Shelf figure.

After seeing scraps of his white pyjamas scattered on the floor, he was so shocked to see the naughty elves sat on the floor red-handed, holding a pair of scissors.

You can watch the video below.

In reality, Lorcan's mum Audrey Wade, 38, spent all night sneaking into her son's bedroom to chop out parts out of an old pair of PJs, as part of the family's yearly Christmas tradition of Elf on the Shelf pranks.

Healthcare assistant Audrey explained: "Lorcan is really cheeky in a good way and loves naughtiness, so he's obsessed with the elves' pranks.

"I went into his room while he was asleep and carefully took a hole out one at a time so I didn't wake him up.

"He's the type of person who wouldn't wear socks with holes in unless I sewed them up because he doesn't like wasting things, so I got him to wear some old pyjamas so he wouldn't mind as much.

"The next morning, he didn't even realise at first that he had holes in his trousers at first and once he did, he just stood there in shock - it was hilarious.

"His reaction was priceless and we laughed for the rest of the day about it."

The video sees Lorcan woefully hold out his pyjamas and tell his parents: "I need some new ones."

Mum-of-two Audrey shared the funny video on Facebook to show her loved ones, where it unexpectedly racked up thousands of views.

She laughed: "Lorcan is quite a funny character anyway but when we put the video on Facebook for our family and friends to see, we didn't realise we would get such a big reaction.

"I know things go viral but I never expected the video to go anywhere.

"When it's your own child you think it's funny but I didn't think everyone else would have liked it as well - Lorcan thinks he's famous now."

Luckily later on in the day, the elves wrote an apologetic letter to Lorcan and gifted him some earmuff and gloves.

"We are so sorry Lorcan," the note read. "Santa gave out to us. Here is something to keep you warm."

But mum Audrey says their pranks aren't over yet.

She explained: "I've got lots more ideas for the elves - they opened his brother's advent calendar and ate all of the chocolates which they found hilarious but I need to top it.

"They also wrapped their school uniforms up yesterday and they loved it.

"It's all just a bit of fun and magic for them in the run up to Christmas."
