We think we've found the perfect gift for animal lovers in the form of these adorable tiny pet sculptures.
Talented artist Alyson Gurney, 24, from Washington, DC, makes super cute pet sculptures by felting wool - and they're the spitting image of their real-life counterparts.

Alyson, who goes by the Insta handle @littlefeltedfriends, is a hit on social media and often receives request for mini replicas of beloved pets.

Her sculptures mostly consist of dogs but she's also turned her hand to cats, rabbits and hedgehogs.
The models are made with wool and felted with a needle - which gives an extra fluffy texture - using photos as a guideline.
Given their size, the sculptures are incredibly accurate. Just check out the mind-blowing likeness in some of these pictures!

"It is such a joy to realise how much people love their pets, sometimes it's the little things in life that bring us the most joy."
Priced at $80 (£61), the sculptures aren't cheap - but given the level of intricate detail, you can see why.
Each made-to-order piece takes 16 weeks from the purchase date to delivery. Customers have the option of adding an accessory to their order for an extra $5 (£3.82), such as a tennis ball, halo, or bandana.

Alyson says her pet sculptures have become so popular that she is currently getting overwhelmed with requests and she has a four-month wait-list.
Alyson said: "Each month I am completely shocked at how fast they sell out!
"My wait-list is currently four-months-long due to the influx of orders I receive.
