People Are Already Putting Their Christmas Trees Up And We Don't Know How To Feel

With six weeks until the big day, is it too early to have the tree up? Some people don't think so.

Yes, November is here and with it comes a lot of pre-Christmas hype.

Netflix has just added a slew of festive titles to its platform, the Christmas adverts are filtering through, and festive foods and drinks are landing on our shelves.

But with six weeks until the big day, surely it's still to early to be putting up the tree?

Well apparently not, as this weekend appeared to signal an acceptable time to get the decorations out. A quick glance at the #christmastreeup hashtag and its aflush with people excitedly putting up their trees early.

As for the celebrities, Tamara Ecclestone couldn't resist putting hers up with 46 days until December 25th.

The heiress posed with her husband, management consultant Jay Rutland, and their five-year-old daughter Sophia, in front of their lavishly decorated tree on Instagram.

"The most wonderful time of the year," read the caption - but her followers were quick to question the prematurity.

"Ridiculous ...not even half way through november," said one person.

"Not in November," agreed another.

But another said: "Making me want to put mine up.... #dontlistentothenegativity."

Recently-married Kate Ferdinand also seems to have done a spot of early decorating if her Instagram is another to judge by.

Posting a photo ahead of her "date night" with her husband on the platform, stunning bannister decorations could be seen in the background as well as a festive white bow on the door.

"Are your Christmas decorations already up?," quizzed one follower.

"Have you got your decorations up already? They are beautiful," penned another.

Stateside, makeup aficionado Huda Kattan appeared to have already put up her tree and decorations, complete in chic red and white.

Too early or perfectly fine? The jury's out.
