If you, like us, hate that part of gift wrapping where the sellotape always gets stuck or just refuses to stick properly, then there's a clever home hack that takes tape out of the equation altogether - and what magic is this?

Yep, one American woman has found a way to wrap Christmas presents WITHOUT using any tape and we'll be trying this one out asap.

34-year-old Tracie Garret, from Sterling Heights, Michigan, is known for her super human ability to wrap gifts.

Although Tracie normally wraps presents into interesting shapes, she was recently challenged to wrap a gift without any tape at all and she absolutely delivered.

In the above video, Tracie takes the rectangular-shaped gift and wraps it in an envelope style, creating a pocket to tuck the loose flap into, which keeps the present in place.

One user, who commented on the video, said: "She's a black belt in gift wrapping" and we couldn't agree more.

We wish we'd learnt this nifty trick sooner!

Meanwhile, keeping the wrapping paper roll in place can be just as finicky at times. But, by positioning the paper around a mop handle, you can save yourself hours of stress.

And that's not all. For anyone wanting to up their game wrapping wise, you can now buy gift wrap with your own face on. Brilliant!

With Christmas soon upon us, it could make quite the impression under the tree. Just imagine the receiver's face when they go to open their gifts on Christmas morning.

It might be worth noting, however, that not all gift wrap is good for the environment. Some gift wrap contains non-recyclable plastics and glitter, or the remains of sticky tape, and as such, it can end up as landfill.

By using brown paper, recycled wrapping paper, fabric or even an old newspaper, you can help do your bit for the environment this Christmas.
