The stage tour, led by famous faces Amber Davies (Love Island) and Louis Smith, (Olympic medal-winning gymnast) will kick off in Birmingham in June and tour the country until December.

This is not a democracy, this is a cheer-ocracy and everyone must go. Let's be honest, why wouldn't you want to, this film was a cult film of the noughties, landing on our screens back in 2000.

It was THE film everybody watched at sleepovers and now you can gather your childhood friends and go see it live on stage.

It won't follow the film exactly - for starters the lead cheerleader is called Campbell (Amber) not Torrence - but it is inspired by it.

As described by the production company Selladoor Worldwide, the show will take "you on a highflying, energy fuelled journey which tackles friendship, jealousy, betrayal and forgiveness - wrapped up in explosive choreography and tricks."

And with gymnast Louis, 30, on board we're expecting to see serious skills. Forget treading the boards, he'll be flipping over them, we imagine.

As for Amber, 23, we're not sure what her gymnastics skills are like, but we're expecting big things, as she's fronting the show as the newly crowned squad captain.

Her character, Campbell, should be having a cheer-tastic senior year, but instead, she's forced to move to neighbouring hard-knock Jackson High school and she worries her life is over.

However after making an unlikely friendship she's catapulted back into contention with a powerhouse squad.

And while the real life theatre stage is a far cry from her Love Island days, this isn't her first outing, having starred as Judy Bernly in Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 The Musical in her debut outing in 2018.

Keen to see her and Louis in action? The tour will land in various cities, including Dublin, London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Glasgow as well as many more and tickets start at £13 (which varies widely depending on location).
