Instagram Star Ludwik The Bald Guinea Pig Is Absolutely Everything

With pictures of the treasured animal next to different pieces of food, various signs and propped up in different positions, followers have gone mad for this wildly charismatic creature.

But he wasn't always the cute chubby guinea pig that we know. According to owner Agata, he was incredibly skinny and suffering from pneumonia when she collected him from the pet store.

In conversation with The Dodo, she said: "When I first saw him at that pet store he was so poor and so skinny," Agata says. "He didn't look like chubby Ludwik from Instagram photos."

It took her about six months to bring him back to good health. Now, he is enjoying all the love and attention from his owners as well as hundreds of thousands of fans.

In the interview, Agata spoke about his love of sleeping and penchant for a good cuddle.

"He could sleep all the time. He could spend most of his day in his blue polar blanket on my lap," says his owner.

Lucky for us though, he manages to stay awake for his numerous hyper-cute photo shoots. From posing with cups of tea, to looking deadly serious next to an apple laptop - and unbelievably cute wrapped up in a blanket - followers have remained enthralled by the little creature.

One user said: "You definitely made us smile."

Whilst another commented: "You're the purest thing on this planet and I love you."

As far as influencers go, it's safe to say Ludwik you are definitely proving to be the most influential.
