Aldi's spider catcher is back and it's just in time for September home invasions. *Shudder*
The bargain supermarket launched its clever spider catching device last year and it's returning after saving countless households from the eight-legged creepy crawlies.
The device allows users to humanely dispose of the unwanted houseguests, working a bit like a litter picker, instead with gentle bristles that catch spiders and daddy-long-legs without harm.
Even better, the long 60cm rod means you can catch them in hard-to-reach areas like ceiling corners.

"Do spiders give you the chills? Then this Spider Catcher is the perfect device for you. Easy to use, this is a quick and simple way for you to remove spiders from your home without harming them," says Aldi.
"Great for hard to reach places, you can simply pick-up spiders, daddy long legs and other bugs with the gentle bristles that work to contain them, before popping them outside."
The spider catcher costs £7.99, and is available online now.
If you don't manage to get hold of your spider catcher for whatever reason, why not try the mint hack to scare away the insects?

Posted in Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, user Sylvia Crawford shared her solution to get rid of spiders using the herb.
Apparently spiders are not fans of mint and the smell of it can send them scurrying.
Cleverly, Sylvia suggests popping some mint into a bottle of cheap antibacterial spray mixed with water and then spraying it all over the home.

Not only will you be able to ward off spiders, but your home will end up smelling (literally) minty fresh.
It's certainly a bargain way to scare off the creep crawlies. Who's with us?
