An Instagram influencer, who has bared all to her followers in a candid before-and-after Instagram snap just hours after giving birth, has been praised by her followers for showing the "beauty of postpartum bodies".

Hannah Polites, who is also a midwife on the Gold Coast, Queensland, posted side-by-side images of herself at 38 weeks pregnant with her second child and "24 hours post birth" to be as real as possible with her followers in her post-partum body journey.

"I was tired, pale and a little sore but so proud of what I'd just achieved the day before," explained Hannah, 28, in the caption.

Revealing she won't be in a hurry to snap back to her pre-pregnancy body after giving birth to her son, Arlo, she continued: "The human body is so amazing and I'm so thankful that mine was able to grow, birth and now nurture my boy.

"I'm in no rush to "bounce back" and will just be focusing on my family and new baby, not exercising for at least 6 weeks."

The new mum-of-two also told how her daughter, Evaliah, had questioned "why mama's belly button 'looks funny'" and why her "skin on [her] belly is so soft".

"She now knows that it's because my body created a beautiful life and that's bloody incredible," stated Hannah.

The influencer's incredible post was liked over 82,000 times by her 1.3 million Instagram followers, who were in awe of her honesty in an age where women feel so pressured to "bounce back".

"Thanks for sharing [your] real body after giving birth It's so important to raise awareness all women around the world about the beauty of postpartum body," replied one.

While another fan echoed: "Who cares about "bouncing back" when you have a precious bubba and carried that life for 9 months."

"I remember I cried after my first child's birth because my body still looked pregnant days after it," shared somebody else, before adding: "This is honestly such an amazing post especially for women that don't bounce back or know that "bouncing back" days after is a myth."

"THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. Thank you so much for sharing and keeping it real, you don't know the number of new mums that you've brought comfort to with this post," commented a fourth.

Hannah, we salute you for keeping it so real.
