You Can Now Decorate Your Front Garden With 'The Snowman' And Snowdog Decorations

We have to admit, the UK's front garden decorations will likely never quite match the US' efforts in terms of flamboyancy, but we like to think we do things pretty tastefully - sometimes less can be more.

And now, the ultimate LED garden decoration has arrived. It is tasteful, classic and utterly adorable and it comes in the form of a snowman.

Not just any old snowman either, THE Snowman.

The fabulous decoration is of course based on the Raymond Briggs 1978 book, but most will remember him from the now iconic and much-loved silent Christmas film The Snowman that first aired on Channel 4 on Boxing Day in 1982, and has stood the test of time. A real oldie but goodie.

And like any great film, a sequel then occurred, albeit 30 years later and it starred a lovable new character alongside The Snowman - a Snowdog!

If you love the films as much as we do, the good news is you can now buy a light up version of each of the characters and place them on your front lawn for everyone else to feel envious of.

The Snowman comes complete with his green hat and scarf and is made from 100 LED lights, so he is really set to light up your garden this holiday season.

You can buy him on Amazon now for £49.99.

The Snowdog is made with 24 LED lights and comes complete with his colourful ears and love heart patches.

He costs just £28.94 on Amazon, so he is significantly cheaper than his partner, but he's also smaller. But let's be honest, you can't have the Snowdog without his trusty owner anyway - they need to come as a pair so we say treat yourself to both.

You'll have the most coveted display in the street.

All you'll need to complete it is a sprinkling of snow...we can only hope it'll come just in time for Christmas Day!
