This Cute New Penguin Gadget Makes Cooking Eggs A Whole Lot Easier

Egguins are the new item every home owner wants in their kitchen. Cooking eggs six at a time, this new device is as cute as it is helpful.

Cooking breakfast has never been simpler (or cuter) thanks to these 'Egguins', which are officially our new favourite way to boil an egg.

Whether it's sunny side up, dippies with soldiers, or poached with avocado and sourdough, our nation goes mad for an egg in the morning.

The trouble is, endeavouring to make and egg can often result in disaster (undercooked whites or a rock-hard yolk, anyone?)

So what do you do, god forbid, you have guests to cook for too? Step forward Egguins (costing just $21.99 or £17.83 from Peleg Design).

This adorable colony of penguin egg cookers are a dream come true for any egg-cook-a-phobe. With six hanging penguins, you can cook up to six eggs by slotting one in each penguin's hollow belly. The arms of the penguin will hold the egg in place until you're ready to remove it.

To cook the eggs, just submerge the penguins into the boiling water and they will rest there until you need to pull them out again.

The handle on top will make this process as easy as possible. For soft boiled eggs, lower the water temperature to a simmer after bringing it to the boil and then submerge the Egguins in for five minutes.

Once cooked and removed, you can replace the eggs and keep them to store in the Egguins.

According to Peleg, "the small colony of penguins will hold up to six eggs together in the Arctic winter of your fridge or in the hot springs of your pot. The handle will always stay cool for pulling out safely from the boiling water and comfortable carrying to the table or fridge."

The item is made of plastic and completely dishwasher-safe making it very easy to clean. It's less than 6in tall so will sit easily on any cupboard or fridge shelf.

If you too have been bowled over by this Egguin cuteness, and now think breakfast will never be the same without one, then you can get your hands on one here.
