Potterheads, we appreciate you need no encouragement, but had you thought about creating a Harry Potter themed room in your home?

That's exactly what husband and wife duo Kaycee and Casey Daniel from Illinois USA did.

Casey, 32, was a huge fan of the books growing up, decided he wanted to create a Harry Potter themed nursery for his son Finley, now four, and it looks INCREDIBLE.

With help from his wife, also 32, just over four years ago, the pair decided to prep the room with a wizarding theme throughout ready for their new bundle.

They first asked artist Nate Branowski to create a mural in the nursery.

He painted a scene that looked out of a Hogwarts castle window that looked onto towering turrets and the grounds of the castle.

It looks as though the window could be in the Gryffindor common room where Harry, Ron and Hermione spent many an evening. Even Hedwig appears in the mural, sitting on the windowsill.

Kaycee said of the painting: "The artist who did the mural really knocked it out of the park.

"It looks so life like and pictures really don't do it justice!"

Next the couple set about finding decorations for the room. From house flags, to frames filled with Potter-themed photos and mirrors, they had a lot of fun picking out the decor, bringing the room to life.

They included pictures of Dumbledore, the Hogwarts Express, Dobby and even Sir Cadogan the knight.

And finally Kaycee asked a family friend to create bedding in Gryffindor colours which completed the magical room with a quick swish and flick!

Despite how fabulous it looks, Kaycee wasn't too sure to start with, telling Tyla: "My husband grew up loving Harry Potter and knew right when we found out we were pregnant he wanted a Harry Potter Nursery.

"I took some convincing but am so glad I came around. I wanted it to seem like you were in the castle.

"I figured if he grows to not like Harry Potter it is just like a Castle and what little boy won't love castles?"

Now it's one of her favourite rooms in the house and luckily Finley loves Harry Potter already.

Kaycee often finds him sporting his Harry Potter glasses and wand wandering around the house. Cute!

Even now four years on the room is the same, Kaycee told Tyla, but they have just simply swapped out the crib for a bed - there's life in this wizard room yet.
