We're all for new ways to make our lives easier, and if it includes simple ways to clean our dishes AND cutlery, then even better.
And one woman in Australia has shared a tip for doing just that and, honestly, it's mind-blowing!
Professional cleaner Liesl Elizabeth shared her hack to get your cutlery looking sparkling on TikTok, posting the caption: "On today's episode of learning the obvious..."
Liesl then shared a clip of her loading her dirty cutlery into the top drawer of her dishwasher, between the ridges of the tray.
And, yep, we can't believe we didn't know this either.

The mum-of-three runs a cleaning company in Perth, Australia and expertly demonstrated in the 17-second clip how she positions her dirty knives and forks in the top rack of the dishwasher, rather than the basket on the bottom rack.
While this space is usually reserved for long knives and bigger utensils, positioning cutlery here means they're more likely to get a better clean.
The short clip has been viewed more than 15,000 times and viewers are amazed by the simple hack.
Comments revealed that most of us were unaware that the slotted section at the top of the dishwasher rack was meant for cutlery, while others shared how silly they felt that they were only just learning this.
One person commented: "Is this witchcraft?"
However, others were quick to point out that this information can usually be found in the manual.
"It's literally illustrated in the user manual," one person wrote.
"But who has time to read that?" Liesl replied.
Others, meanwhile, weren't so keen on this useful hack, voicing their concerns that it would take too much time to separate each piece of cutlery and wash them in this way.
"It's so much easier to just throw in the basket," they wrote.
However, it appears that not every dishwasher includes this handy feature, with some only having the cutlery basket in the bottom drawer.
Who knew?!
