TikTok is home to no shortage of beauty hacks, but there is some debate over whether they all actually work.
The suncream contouring hack was swiftly shunned by skincare experts, as was the sandpaper shaving tip (ouch!).
However, one hack which looks quite a bit safer, and boasts very impressive results, has now gone viral.

Introducing the Amazon lip plumper: Made by beauty brand Derol, the Lip Maximiser is now responsible for over 185,000 hashtags on TikTok.
And the majority are before and after videos, showing the undeniable results attained when using the product - made up of two different formulas, a 'day' and 'night' gloss.
The serums illicit an incredible shine when applied to the lips, and both contain hyaluronic spheres and come packed with vitamin E to help plump the lips, and make them look fuller.

The 'day' gloss has a delicious peppermint aroma (and the peppermint itself also acts as a plumping ingredient).
Meanwhile the 'night' gloss is packed with ginger, which also plumps.
The best part is the glosses themselves are small and compact, so that they are easy to carry around whenever your lips need a boost.
Like most lip plumpers that actually work, there is an initial sting and tingle, which shows the ingredients are working...
