People Are Losing Their Minds Over These Beauty Mini Fridges

Due to the ongoing lockdown situation (thanks, coronavirus), we haven't been giving our make-up a lot of attention.

While we salute those of you who still have had the energy to put on a full face every day, many of us are embracing the natural look - and leaving our beauty items a little worse for wear.

However, Russell Hobbs has come up with a solution with their brand new 14L compact coolers!

Coming in a very fresh and modern-looking Scandi shade, this mini cooler is the perfect to your bedroom or study, and can chill a fairly significant chunk of your skincare products.

Crusty face creams will be a thing of the past.

Russell Hobbs announced the new product on their Instagram page, with millions of beauty addicts rushing to announce they're desperate to snap one up.

"Omg. I need this ... for makeup but also a wee chiller for those cute tiny bottles!" one person gushed.

Another added: "How cute!" with a heart-eyes emoji.

A more boujee fan commented: "Ooh, this would be perfect for my summer house!"

"I would love this!" another chipped in.

Many of us keep our make-up in a make-up bag near our side tables, or maybe in a tray if we're really organised - but more and more of us are starting to invest in mini-fridges to keep our beauty products at their best.

Keeping your skincare at cooler temperatures will keep them from expiring as quickly after opened. It can also be beneficial for our skin, with cooling products soothing on inflamed skin or topical acne.

Keeping products colder will keep them cleaner as bacteria will not live in cooler temperatures for long, and those who love under-eye products to depuff any bags will see an instant difference after using items that have been refrigerated.

Beauty expert Jason Goldberg, from SpaSeekers also told Tyla: "Keeping pencil products such as lipliners and eye pencils in the fridge can help with precise application as the product is harder - especially if you're trying out any of the graphic eyeliner trends that are on trend at the moment. Warmer weather can wreak havoc with wax and butter-based lipsticks, so keeping them in the fridge can prevent them from melting.

"It can also be beneficial to keep skincare such as retinols, and benzoyl peroxide in the fridge as it can increase the shelf life. Keeping moisturiser in the fridge can also create a cooling effect on the skin, reducing any puffiness and calming the skin down."

Saffron Hughes, make-up artist at FalseEyelashes.co.uk added: "Although I keep most of my makeup products stored at room temperature, I keep my daily skincare essentials in the fridge as I find it makes the products more effective on application and I love the cooling feeling on my skin."

And of course, you don't actually have to keep your make-up in there if you prefer not to. It's perfect for just keeping drinks and snacks, like any other fridge.

If we've convinced you to splash out, you can buy Russell Hobbs gorgeous mini fridge for £84.99 from Amazon.
