Single use. It's the buzzword of the summer. And although plastic-free July may nearly be over, that doesn't mean we'll be going back to our old ways.

That's why we're extremely thankful to the lovely people at Lush who have just introduced a whole new range of plastic-free shower essentials.

Easy Peeler Body Scrub £5.
Lush

The cosmetics we use every day shouldn't be harming the planet, so incorporating Lush's 'naked' products into our routine has become a thing of necessity as of late.

With the introduction of everything from shower gels and body scrubs to plastic-free shampoos and conditioners, now we literally have no excuse.

The best thing about Lush is that they don't do what every other brand out there is doing by introducing a 'plastic alternative' - they get rid of the stuff altogether, so its latest shower collection mean bathtime can be even more environmentally friendly than ever before and we're totally down for that.

Argan Dragon Shower Oil, £5.
Lush

First up, the range swaps bottled shower gels for a good old-fashioned bar of soap that will still leave you feeling so fresh and so clean.

Packed full of fresh ingredients and effective essential oils, each soap has been created with benefits for the skin in mind and leave a sensational scent that will linger long after you've lathered.

Shower scrubs and body moisturisers also come in bar form, as do the 'American Cream' pressed conditioner, 'Godiva' shampoo bar, Argan Dragon Shower Oil and 'Coco Loco' shower oil which is crafted from a tropical trio of Brazilian orange oil, coconut cream and lemongrass oil.

American Cream Pressed Conditioner, £9.

Sleepy Soap, £5.

When it comes to pricing, products are super affordable too, with shampoo and conditioning bars averaging £8, body scrubs coming in at the bargain price of £3.50 and soaps at around £5-7 each, with each mighty bar lasting for up to 80 washes - that's a pretty impressive cost per scrub.

The products are available online and nationwide in Lush stores now.

If you've not got on the naked bandwagon yet, what are you waiting for?
