Cat Has Tiny Piano Which He Plays When He's Hungry

Let us introduce you to Winslow the tabby cat, who plays piano every time he's hungry.
Yep, the clever kitty learned to play a mini piano with the help of his musician owner Kate Nyx, and it's just about the most adorable thing we've ever seen!
Now a seasoned pro, cute seven-year-old Winslow also knocks out a tune when his litter needs changing, in order to alert Kate.
She first taught him the skill to counteract the loud screaming noise he used to make when he wanted attention.
But now his piano ability has made him somewhat of an internet sensation...

"I was like, 'this is no good'," Winslow's owner Kate Nyx, 29, from Philadelphia, said. "The piano is another way to communicate, so he's not screaming bloody murder."
Kate and her husband adopted Winslow when he was eight weeks old, after he was found in her cousin's backyard trying to fight a dog.
Musician Kate had bought the mini piano on eBay when she was at school, but she never imagined her cat would get use out of it!
"He started showing interest in the piano when he was a baby, playing the notes and looking underneath trying to find where they were coming from," she reflected.
It was when he started misbehaving that the brainwave hit her.
She transformed Winslow's curiosity towards the piano into a way for him to express himself and she encouraged him to start playing it when it was food time.
"He was a rambunctious kitten and he's transformed into a chaotic gentleman," said Kate.
"It became some kind of hunting reward because he can't do much in the apartment.
"He tends to only play it when we're in kitchen and he knows he can possibly get a snack."
Its not just when Winslow is hungry that he plays Kate tunes.
"He uses the piano to express himself in general, for attention, to get his litter scooped," she added. "It's his alarm system in general."
He's even picked up some of the musicians tricks along the way.
"He learned that I encourage moving his paws up and down the keyboard, so he does that when he really wants something," she said.
Winslow has now become so famed for his piano skills that he's even made a single called "Bean Gotta Scream" which dropped on August 7th on streaming platforms.
It features Winslow in all of his screaming, piano playing goodness, and it truly isn't one to miss!
