A news channel in Australia accidentally aired a penis meme during a weather segment this week.

Win News in Ballarat, Victoria, asked viewers to send in clips of the stormy weather that's been battering the area this week, but one X-rated video seems to have slipped through the net and ended up on telly.

Much to everyone's amusement!

When running through the submissions during the show, the weather programme turned to one in particular.

But there was something not quite right about this video.

The clip shows lightening striking in the stormy clouds, but in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, there's something else lurking in the night sky.

It looks like one viewer knows their way around Photoshop because a very explicit meme appears to have been edited into the video - and viewers couldn't stop laughing about it.

Just as the lightening strikes, an outline of a naked man flashes in the sky and eagle-eyed viewers have managed to match the image to a well-known meme of a man, sitting down on a bed with his penis on full display.

Of course, WIN News have now deleted the offending clip, but viewers have been finding it hilarious on Twitter, with user Cameron Wilson posting the clip of the segment online.

"Oh my GOD I can't believe this is real: look at 0:04 and see if you recognise anything in the clouds," he said.

And viewers couldn't believe what they were seeing, with one commenting: "This is too good to be real."

While another said: "Seems like they've deleted it, but the image is forever seared into my brain."

One person added: "Kudos to the video editor that managed to sneak this in."

Another user was gutted it appeared to be edited and wasn't in fact real.

"Seeing in the comments that this is likely edited and not just an incredibly beautiful natural coincidence, as i had naively taken it to be, is heartbreaking," they wrote.

This really is the ultimate prank - and some pretty impressive video editing skills!
