It's quickly coming around to that time of year again, where we begin to put out all our festive decorations and some Christmas spirit couldn't come soon enough.

However, one shopper nearly ended up with more than she bargained for in her stocking while out shopping for trinkets.

Browsing through B&M's festive aisles, the person in question found a sweet white reindeer with a number of woodland creatures nesting on its back.

As the cute little decoration didn't have a price tag, the shopper flipped the deer over to see if there was a barcode anywhere, and was left open-mouthed at the reindeer's, shall we say, visible appendage.

Avert your eyes now, children.

Yep, the reindeer ornament was certainly anatomically correct, with the stag featuring a penis between its legs.

The shocked shopper posted the risqué photo to Facebook group B&M Stores Bargains and More, along with a catalogue shot of the ornament (revealing our well-endowed deer costs £10),

The post attracted both comments of both horror and hilarity, with several weighing in on the unique ornament.

"It's always the finer details that sell a product," someone drily observed.

"Well, at least we know it's definitely a stag!", laughed another.

A third added: "It's not something I would normally buy, but now I'm compelled to."

Luckily B&M have also seen the funny side.

A spokesperson for the store told Tyla: "We don't want to come across as cocky but we think we've got the best range of decorations on the high street this year!

"Our stag ornament has sold really well - we can't help but think it's because of his big personality."

We're sure it is.

For those keen to put their Christmas deccies up, it might be a good idea for your mental health to start rolling out the tinsel soon rather than later.

Research has suggested that the urge to put up festive ornaments earlier is commonly linked with childhood nostalgia.

Psychoanalyst Steve McKeown told our pals at UNILAD: "In a world full of stress and anxiety people like to associate to things that make them happy and Christmas decorations evoke those strong feelings of the childhood.
