We can only aspire to be this wonderfully petty.

Is there really anyone who can say that, deep down, they aren't petty AF?

When someone does you wrong, it's easy to get into a game of tit-for-tat...but we'e never seen anybody take it as far as mum-of-two, Julia Reinoso.

Julia says she'd had put up with complaints from her "jerk" neighbours for eight years when she finally cracked.

The couple had even reported her kids' toys in the front garden and complained about the length of her lawn and shouted at the kids for climbing tress.

Fed up, the 29-year-old decided to give her neighbours 'something to talk about' and looked over her town's rules to find a loophole she could exploit.

Discovering that murals were allowed, carpenter Julia hilariously created an eye-popping design on her own home, using nothing but spray paint.

Daubing 'sh**ty' polka dots over just half her house, just to make it to 'look worse', Julia, from Howell in New Jersey, US, said: "I went outside and said 'alright, I'll give you a reason to close your blinds'."

"The funny thing is I got through half the house painting polka dots and my dad said 'no, no, half a job is a good job. It looks worse now there's only half'".

Julia says when neighbours first caught sight of the mural, they complained to the council every day, but eventually they stopped when they realised there was nothing they could do.

"I'm a carpenter - that's the funniest part of it all. I could easily fix it," she said.

"My daughter Penny [six] thinks it's awesome. She thinks it's colourful and bright. [She says] 'at least it's not boring like the other houses'.

"My son's embarrassed. My brother Lane used to get off the bus and walk past our house as if he didn't live there.

"There's mixed feelings on it - but the rest of us think it's hysterical. This is a great way to give people a reason to smile. That's how you fight adversity."

We can only aspire to be this wonderfully petty.
