Whilst the majority of us tend to just write down a shopping list on a scrappy piece of paper, one TikTok user has taken things to the next level.
And it's pretty clever.
Melinda who shares her TikTok with her husband Adam on @adamxmelinda shared a short video on the social media platform of herself making a grocery list for her partner.

She has captioned the video "Making my husband a grocery list," and in the clip she can be seen sticking pictures of every product she wants from the shop on a piece of paper, rather than simply writing them down.
And people are loving her creativity, calling it 'genius'.
One user commented, "This is by far the most genius thing I have ever seen."

Another added, "This is actually a good idea since mine will come back with junk food and nothing I asked for."
Whilst a third wrote, "My husband would honestly love this there are so many different brands for items this way he knows he won't come home with the wrong thing."
And a fourth commented, "I felt this! I send my husband for a few items and he is like 'can you send me a picture?' Lmao."
In another TikTok video, captioned "When I have to send my husband to the store" Melinda has taken things up a notch.

The second video shows her writing the quantity, the price and very cleverly - the aisle number next to the picture of each product she wants.
Melinda has then drawn an entire map of the store on a separate piece of paper, showing the entrance, check-out and highlighting all the different aisles so her husband knows exactly where to go to get each product.
This must take her ages to do but we admire her commitment to detail!
