Ever wondered what it would be like trying to get out of bed at nine months pregnant?
Well a TikToker has tried it out for the rest of us, enlisting the help of a giant watermelon and some trusty clingfilm.
We're not even kidding.
Watch the clip below:
Maitland Hanley, who goes by @maitlandhanley, has left social media users in stitches as he put a watermelon infront of his stomach and strategically placed two cantaloupe melons at his chest in a bid to mimic a pregnant woman at full-term.
Getting his pals onboard with his rib-tickling social experiment, TikTok users watched as the Aussie influencer hilariously attempted to get up and off his double bed.
We're not going to lie; Maitland looked a little smug in the beginning as he spun his legs around towards the ground and told his pal, "Watch this".
However, the smile was quickly wiped off his face when he realised that the weight of the watermelon was holding his torso down.
Over the space of the 20-second clip, his followers watched as he tried multiple times to get up while his friend was doubled-over in a fit of laughter.
Captioning the clip, he wrote: "Man tries being pregnant for a day :joy: #fyp #watermelonchallenge #watermelonbaby #pregnantbelly #pregnantman".
And it wasn't only Maitland and his pals who found his failed experiment funny but also two million other TikTok users who have since liked the post.
One person commented: "You thought it was going to be easy [cry laughing emoji]".
"His mate in the background p**sing himself laughing," another wrote under the video.
A woman hilariously warned: "Don't forget all the ligaments are loose so you just popped a hip".
"You have to roll you can't just fling yourself or you'll pull a ligament in your side," another shared. "We may be taking this watermelon thing too far now guys."
A fifth penned: "Me, a mom of two yelling over here: you just gotta commit! Hard roll and grab the edge for support!"
"My God be gentle the baby will get hurt that's not how we do it," another joked.
Either way, thank you Maitland for laugh we didn't know we needed!
