We've had some embarrassing moments in our time, but your six-year-old kid dragging your thong into class with them? That just might top the lot.
That's what happened to mortified mum, Grace, after she quickly got her daughter ready for school, putting her velcro shoes on in a hurry.
Sharing the ordeal on TikTok, her daughter explains: "I was going to walk to class and I saw a teacher and she said 'There's something on your shoe, honey'.

"And then I stomped all the way to the Principal and said 'This is my mum's underwear, her house is messy.'

"And she said 'You should put it in your pocket,' and then I got to class I said 'This is on my shoe this morning,' and I showed the underwear.
"And then she said to put it in my backpack," the little girl said matter-of-factly.
As she hears the story, the mum can be seen laughing to herself, and muttering "my God," under her breath.
"Currently looking for a new school for my six-year-old #whyshedomelikethat," she joked in the TikTok caption.
"Don't. Buy. Velcro. Shoes. For. Kids," one person teased after watching the video on the platform.

"Kids are the biggest ball busters. 'Our house was messy' was that necessary information?!", another wrote.
"I'm dying she repped it in show and tell," a third chipped in, in the comments.
As a fourth laughed: "As a third grade teacher I'm absolutely lolling. Kids tell everything. Don't worry we don't hold it against parents".
"This story gets funnier EVERY TIME I LISTEN TO IT," another person wrote.

Luckily, Grace confirmed that the thong in question was clean (thank God).
Ah kids, you've got to love them. Hide your secrets... hide your underwear... they will be bringing them to show and tell.
