Costa Customers Can't Get Over This NSFW Drive Through Sign

Costa customers couldn't believe their eyes when they saw what looked like a very naughty sign in one of the coffee chains drive-thrus.

Two Costa customers were left in hysterics after spotting the 'unfortunate' positioning of the coffee chain's signage in a drive-thru made it look like a cheeky phrase.

Customer Liam Warner had been picking up his lattes at the Lostock Gralam, Northwich, branch of Costa he spotted the sign appeared to read 'd*ck me up' instead of 'pick me up'.

He couldn't resist taking a picture and posting it on social media after showing staff the snap of the blunder who also found it hilarious.

The 33-year-old from Northwich, Cheshire, said: My fiancé Jennifer Jenkins and I were on the way to Alton Towers and thought we'd try the new Costa and went to the drive-through, looked out my window and saw that.

"I just burst into hysterics when I saw the sign, took the picture and said to the missus 'do you reckon this is something they charge extra for?'

"I thought it was hilarious and showed the girls that were working behind the counter and they found it hilarious too - I was like 'is this an added service?' and they were just laughing.

"I imagine if you were further back it probably wouldn't be as funny but the angle where you are when you're in the queue just cuts it off a little bit. It's just unfortunate.

"They [Costa] would probably have a good laugh at it."

Liam wasn't the only customer who spotted the gaffe, other Costa customers also shared their photos of the sign, including Nicola Beech whose image went viral and amassed almost 2,000 likes, comments and shares.

Some of the comments called the picture "brilliant", with many finding humour in its unfortunate position.

One person quipped: "I do love a bit of d*ck but not if it's going to Costa me."

While a second wrote: "Hahahaha this is amazing. Never noticed it hahahahah. I think whoever did this by accident or on purpose is a genius."

We're sure customers will never be able to look at the sign the same ever again.

Costa were contacted for comment.
