If there's anything that can get us on board with exercise, it's pairing it with a Disney sing-song - and that's exactly what one personal trainer is offering with her latest at-home workout.
PT and dance instructor Emily Thorne has choreographed a 20-minute HIIT Hop workout to a whole host of Disney songs from our favourite movies.
Teaming ups with YouTuber That Disney Girl, the exercise buff has created a burn session soundtracked to the likes of 'Get'cha Head in the Game' from High School Musical, 'I'll Make a Man Out Of You' from Mulan, Hercules's 'Zero to Hero' and even 'What Dreams Are Made Of' from The Lizzie McGuire Movie. And it looks SO fun!
"Ok so if you are someone like me who loves Disney and fitness, and wanted to find a way to jump around to Disney songs with it being called a workout - you have come to the right place," says That Disney Girl.
According to the fitness guru, HIIT HOP is a form of dance fitness which she created using a 'tabata format' - that's 20 seconds of high-intensity training and 10 seconds of rest.
Instead of traditional HIIT exercises, Emily disguises them with fun dance moves.
Clever right? I mean the intense burning in our entire body won't feel quite so bad if we're pretending to be Mulan while we're doing it or belting out some Lizzie McGuire.
"Don't be intimidated," warns the Disney obsessive. "I am NOT a dancer by any means (which you will very clearly see) but I love doing these classes because they are a great form of cardio and muscle sculpting and I am always having a great time, even when I look like a fool."
Honestly, what could be better than jumping around to some Disney songs while getting your daily workout in?
