Yellow Jacket Is The New Zara Dress As Women Across The UK Spotted In Identical Style

Yellow Jacket Is The New Zara Dress As Women Across The UK Spotted In Identical Style

Remember that spotty Zara dress that was so popular last year it even had its own Instagram page?

Well, it seems as though a yellow puffer jacket could be following the same trend, after a hilarious photo reveals the moment four strangers noticed they were wearing the same style coat in one coffee shop.

Rebecca Birch, from Dorset, had arranged to meet her friend Emily Lawrence at a Caffe Nero shop a few weeks ago. But when the pair arrived they realised they were wearing identical yellow coats.

Added to that, the friends had a shock when they noticed two other strangers wearing the same mustard jacket as well!

The women were in hysterics at what had happened, with Rebecca explaining: "It was one of those moments that was so funny. We were like 'oh my god, we've got the same coat on'.

"It was such a funny thing to happen. The response was brilliant. We were laughing and talking about how we loved the bright colour.

"The lady at the back kept saying 'we're a ray of sunshine in difficult times'."

Rebecca had planned to get her daily exercise with personal trainer pal Emily, with the pair stopping off for a coffee beforehand.

"We met up in the town to get some exercise and it was so funny - we both saw it each other and laughed," she said.

"We thought it was hilarious already. We felt embarrassed in the first instance because people were looking at us as if to say 'look at them two'. I think they thought we were either girlfriends or twins. We felt quite silly.

"I said 'let's go grab a takeaway coffee in Caffe Nero'. There was already one person in there ordering a coffee. She was there with her baby and her husband.

"We looked at each other and said 'oh my god, look. She's got the same colour coat on as well. We had a laugh with them and the barista said 'look at you three all matching with your mustard-coloured coats on'.

"We started to order and the next minute I turned around and this lady walked in behind me. I couldn't believe someone else had walked in with the same coat on."

The coats were all different brands - Joules, Benneton, Primark and Marks and Spencer - proving that the trend really is taking over the high street this winter.

"With all the news out there at the moment, it's something so simple. It's made people smile," said Rebecca.

"I posted it on [social media] and got 21,000 likes on it. All the comments were so positive. As soon as the kids came home from school I was like 'look at this'.

"So many people have said it's hilarious and made their day."

And it's not just Rebecca and Emily. In fact, there's heaps of retailers selling the jackets, and plenty of people posting them on social media, too.

Just take a look at these!

Hmm, we know what's next on our wish lists!
