Viral challenges are what TikTok is all about. There was the mystifying chair challenge and the six-second blink test (harder than it sounds).

And now there's a new dance craze we've spotted across the platform and on Instagram: the #ThreeMoveChallenge.

So what is it? The 10-second dance - which, pretty obviously, has three linked moves - is set to Raye's 'Love Me Again'.

Dancers and choreographers - mainly young women - across both social platforms have been learning the street dance, which ends with heart hands close up to the camera, and thousands of users have been watching.

On TikTok, Lianajadee's vid has been viewed 42k times, while Olivianduffin and xbeckycookex have 10k views each.

And that's the weird thing about this particular craze - no one knows what it's about.

Influencers are keeping schtum, simply using the hashtag with no explanation.

Raye herself has tagged the challenge, saying "Love the #threemovechallenge to my song, keep tagging yourself in my videos" but even she didn't shed any light.

It appears to have been kicked off by choreographer Natasha Mould, who was the first to use the hashtag on Instagram and has filmed a YouTube tutorial.

But is it just a dance challenge or is there something more behind it? Influencers have been cagey with their explanations, just hashtagging the dance and #JoinTheMovement.

We'll have to wait and see but, in the meantime, BRB - we're just off to master it ourselves.
