If you love cats and have always secretly thought Dobby was your favourite Harry Potter character, then you'll instantly fall in love with this gorgeous cat who looks just like the house elf.
The Dobby lookalike instantly went viral when she was posted on Facebook by a woman named Jana Aviles.

Jana wrote: "I met this little cutie while working at the vet yesterday. She was brought in by a rescue after she was found as an injured stray. She is so cute, like have you ever??"
Jana's post soon went viral with thousands of likes and comments from cat-lovers keen to adopt the gorgeous feline with a striking resemblance to Dobby - and, as commenters pointed out, Yoda from Star Wars too.
As the love for the cat and offers to adopt poured in, Jana stressed that although the "Yoda cat" needed to be rehomed, there are also millions of other cats looking for a loving family.

She wrote: "There is only ONE Yoda cat, so there is only ONE home out there for her. So many people have offered to travel across the country to adopt this cat, and even people from other countries have reached out to me.
"There are 70 MILLION stray cats just in the US. 4 MILLION cats are brought into animal control facilities each year, and 1.4 MILLION of those cats are euthanized each year due to lack of homes.

"Everyone please check your local shelters. I guarantee you that your new best friend is waiting for you as I type this. Yoda cat may look cool, but looks aren't everything. If you adopt a new pet because of this post, please comment their picture here and encourage others to adopt too."
As of today, it's not clear whether the Dobby-lookalike cat has been adopted yet, but we're keeping everything crossed that the sweet cat - and the many other cats out there without homes - will find a loving home in time for Christmas.
