A Doggy Cuddle Corner Will Be In London This Weekend

If cuddling up to a variety of different pooches is your idea of heaven, you should head down to London's ExCel Centre this weekend.

The Discover Dogs event, organised by the Kennel Club, will pop up in the capital on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October and will have plenty of pawfect pooches strutting their stuff in the main arena showing off their agility.

But if you can tear your eyes away from the doggy displays, you can head over to Cuddle Corner, filled with all the dogs you could ever imagine and comfy bean bags to perch on while you pet them.

You might even bump into The Only Way Is Essex star and famous dog lover Pete Wicks who is coming along to the show.

You can snuggle up with everything from sausage dogs to spaniels and if last year is anything to go by, there'll be a ball pit to play in with them too - could this get any better?

There will be over 200 breeds at the show, so you're sure to see your favourite or discover which puppy breed would be most suited to you. It really is a dog lover's heaven.

The organisers warn on their website though "this area [cuddle corner] can get very busy" and it's no wonder - as soon as we get in that area we simply won't be leaving.

If you finally get asked to leave the corner after hogging all the pups (best to apologise in advance), there's so much else going on at the event to keep you occupied, from competitions to doggy shops.

There are breed booths too, with even more dogs to see where you're bound to learn something. Experts will be on hand at the booths to provide you with facts and guidance about each dog and you'll get to meet unusual and vulnerable breeds which you may not have known even existed.

Seriously, could this event sound any better? We all need puppy love in our lives and now we can all get some this weekend.

Tickets are £15 in advance for adults and £12 for children or senior citizens here. Alternatively, rock up on the day if you prefer, but the tickets will set you back £3 more.
